Panel Discussion: AI, Art, and the World of Work

An Evening of Images, Ideals, and New Perspectives

On February 24, we at hrdiamonds had the pleasure of organizing an inspiring evening on the topic of artificial intelligence, deliberately going beyond purely technical or economic issues.

The focus was on how AI shapes our working world not only structurally, but also culturally. What images does it create? What ideals does it reinforce? And how does it influence our perception of competence, leadership, and potential?

Founded on AI-based artworks by Laura Piñeiro Atienza, a multi-layered discussion arose between art, science, and organizational practice.

Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Sabine T. Köszegi contributed the ergonomic and ethical perspective and highlighted the social implications of AI-supported systems.
Laura Piñeiro Atienza provided insights into her artistic work and highlighted the aesthetics and narratives that arise through AI.
Dr. Doris Weyer shed light on the effects on organizations and posed key questions about the evaluation and selection of people in an increasingly data-driven working world.

The evening was skillfully moderated by StR. Ulrike Jungwho expertly brought together these different perspectives.

Our own artistic exploration of AI provided particular inspiration. Together with Laura Piñeiro Atienza, we had our hrdiamonds consultants recreated by AI. The resulting images sparked an exciting discussion about which ideals of professionalism, leadership, and expertise are visibly or perhaps unconsciously reproduced.

Our focus for 2026: Creating spaces for resonance and dialogue

For us, the evening was not a one-off event, but part of a targeted process of development.

Our focus for 2026 is on specifically opening up spaces for resonance and dialogue on the topics of artificial intelligence and digitalization expertise, both in our customer projects and in the sharing of our expertise, for example in the context of keynote speeches and discussion formats.

Over the past four to five years, we have deliberately placed an internal focus on expanding our digitalization expertise in our everyday work. An important starting point was the hrdiamonds working group “Virtual Ideas.”

Not least due to the influences of the pandemic, we have intensively explored digital tools, collaborative formats, and new opportunities for teamwork. Today, this exploration forms an essential basis for our work with clients.

Our aspirations remain clear: not only to apply technological developments, but to shape them in a reflective, responsible, and dialogical manner.

We would like to thank all guests and contributors for the inspiring discussions and look forward to continuing the dialogue on AI and its impact on our working world.
