Exercise in the Office? More Than a Resolution!

After all, health is not an add-on—it is a basic prerequisite for sustainable work and good teamwork. In order to address this issue even more consciously at hrdiamonds, we founded our own “Gesundheits AG" (Health Working Group) in the summer of 2023. Since then, we have been implementing specific measures to actively promote physical and mental health in our everyday work.

Our highlights for more movement in everyday office life:

  • Yoga in the office: Every Monday evening, our large seminar room is transformed into a small, cozy yoga studio. Under the guidance of our wonderful trainer Verala Sieler, we enjoy breathing and relaxation exercises, as well as challenging flows. It's the perfect way to unwind after a long day at work – and even our office dogs join in! They love the relaxed atmosphere and lie next to the yoga mats, completely at ease.
  • Active breaks: We regularly take 5-10 minutes for a short “active break.” Whether it's shaking, stretching, or doing some quick exercises together, these mini-sessions help us clear our heads and recharge our batteries.
  • Mini-impulses in everyday office life: Framed instructions for desk or chair yoga now hang in many of our rooms. A quick glance is all it takes to get moving—whether you're waiting for the next call or just need a moment to relax.

Exercise isn't just good for health purposes — it also builds team spirit. That's why we'll continue to do everything we can to make our working day active and healthy.

How do you ensure that everyone gets enough exercise in your office?
