A great initiative that we, as a company founded and managed by women, could not miss out on.<\/p>\n<p>We attended an exciting lecture on the topic of emotional load - an often overlooked but important topic. After all, emotions are omnipresent: at work, in our private lives and in society at large. But who bears the emotional responsibility? Who makes sure that everyone feels comfortable, that needs are recognized and fulfilled? It's usually women.<\/p>\n<p>What does emotional load mean exactly?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Feeling (often unconsciously) responsible for the emotional well-being of others<\/li>\n<li>Perceiving, regulating &amp; fulfilling the needs of others - often at the expense of one's own<\/li>\n<li>Particularly present in social professions, in the service sector &amp; in the family<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The effects?
