Our two consultants Barbara Horak and Martin Petter take this belief even further in their roles as mentors in the <strong>WKO's \u201cMentoring for Migrants\u201d program<\/strong>. This program supports highly qualified migrants in entering the Austrian labor market - a challenge that is often difficult to overcome without support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What makes this mentoring program so valuable in their eyes?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Individual support<\/strong>: Over the course of six months, mentees receive practical insights into the Austrian job market, from application strategies to cultural particularities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Opening networks &amp; doors<\/strong>: Access to professional networks is often the key to success - and this is exactly where mentors can provide crucial help.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mutual learning<\/strong>: The exchange brings valuable new perspectives and intercultural skills not only to the mentees, but also to the mentors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Economic &amp; social significance<\/strong>: The integration of international specialists strengthens Austria's innovative power and global competitiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Every year, Barbara and Martin report how enriching this experience is - be it through inspiring success stories or the chance to make a positive contribution to equal opportunities.
