This accessibility statement applies to the website hrdiamonds.com (including all subpages and content, unless otherwise stated).<\/p>

Status of compatibility<\/h2>

This website is partially<\/strong> compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA<\/strong>. Non-compliant content and exceptions are listed below.<\/p>

Non-accessible content<\/h2>

According to our latest review, the following aspects, among others, are (still) not fully accessible:<\/p>

  1. Alternative texts (alt texts) for images<\/strong> \u2013 For some of the photos\/featured images, alternative texts are either not yet available or are insufficient in content. Measure:<\/strong> Alt texts will be gradually added or improved. Planned timeframe:<\/strong> Ongoing, with priority on current and frequently visited pages.<\/li>
  2. Subtitles\/Captions for Videos<\/strong> \u2013 Some embedded or self-hosted videos currently do not have optional subtitles. Action:<\/strong> Provision of subtitles (and, where appropriate, audio descriptions\/transcripts). Planned Timeframe:<\/strong> Gradual implementation; new videos will be made accessible from the outset whenever possible.<\/li>
  3. Audit Coverage<\/strong> \u2013 As part of the audit, a selection of representative pages<\/strong> were tested. no claim<\/strong> is made that all subpages or dynamic areas are completely accessible<\/strong>. Action:<\/strong> Continuous expansion of the audit scope and gradual removal of identified barriers.<\/li><\/ol>

    Contrast & Branding<\/h2>

    We use a predefined branding color palette<\/strong>. To still achieve a legible contrast level<\/strong>, a contrast switch<\/strong> (high-contrast option) is available, which can be used to increase the contrast of the brand colors.<\/p>

    • Goal:<\/strong> Compliance with WCAG contrast criteria (at least 4.5:1 for body text or 3:1 for large\/bold font) in the high-contrast setting.<\/li>
    • Note:<\/strong> In the standard branding view, individual combinations may fall below the target ratio; activating the switch automatically enhances color contrast.<\/li><\/ul>

      Note regarding disproportionate burden:<\/strong> For some legacy cases, immediate and complete adaptation may represent a disproportionate burden. We plan to implement gradual optimization within the framework of regular maintenance cycles.<\/p>

      This website is generally usable with current versions of common browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and on both desktop and mobile devices. It uses HTML5, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript.<\/p>
